My Approach
I work with individual adults.
My approach is Person-Centred, ACT (Acceptance & Committment Therapy), Psychodynamic, Existential, Creative, Art, CBT, Solution Focused Brief Therapy. I use whatever method suits the person's need.
I see counselling as a creative, philosophical and scientific process. First of all we explore what's going on and try to make it as clear as possible. Finding the right words is helpful and I have learned that creativity can be very useful in this search, like bringing a picture into focus. Once you are aware of your thoughts, feelings and actions, then you can begin to make changes and choices for your future.
